Acer announced its new Android smartphone called Liquid E1.This is the shorter version of Cloud Mobile S500. The Acer Liquid E1 is a mid range smartphone. Liquid E1 was powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory storage. The devices run with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. The display is 4.5-inch and the screen resolution is 960 x 540 pixels.

The primary camera is 5MP with auto-focus and LED flash features. The secondary camera at the back is 0.3MP. The Liquid E1 also features FM receiver. The design of the device was really stylish. The dimension of the device is 132 x 68.5 x 9.9 mm and the weight is 130 grams. The battery capacity is 1760mAh.  The talk time is 8 hours and the stand by time is 400 hours. The device runs on Android 4.1.1 so it comes with the Project Butter and Google Now. The device also includes the DTS surround sound technology.

Acer announced Liquid E1 in China this week. The release date and the price of the smart phone were not yet announced officially. There is no information about the availability of the device in other regions.
