Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge now getting May security patch

Samsung is now sending out new software update for their Galaxy S7 Edge mobile. This firmware is now live in India and installs the May month security patch. The new update will hit your S7 Edge handset as G935FXXU1DQE7. The download size of this update will be in 212.65MB. This software bundle also includes stability improvements, performance optimization and some bug fixes.

As usual Samsung rolling out this firmware update through regular OTA. If you have received the update notification you can install it now or skip it to later. If you tap Install Overnight option it will install the update within 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM. Sometimes the update will take time to reach all devices. You can also check for manual update from Settings menu.
