Samsung Galaxy A8 dual sim receiving October security update

Samsung is currently pushing the October month security patch update to Galaxy A8 Duos SM-A800F model. Last month the single sim model of Galaxy A8 updated to October security patch. This security update will fix 68 common vulnerabilities & exposures in android os and 7 bugs in samsung devices. It also includes performance improvements and updates the android security patch to October 2016.

Some survey claims galaxy a8 will be the last mobile in Samsung series to get the October patch update. Samsung will roll out this security patch to Galaxy A8 Duos mobiles in regular OTA update. If you got the automatic update notification from Samsung then follow the procedures that will be displayed on the mobile screen. If you didn’t get official prompt check for the manual update by selecting the Settings > About device > Download updates manually.
