OxygenOS 4.5.11 update for OnePlus 5 released

OnePlus has started to push new Oxygen OS update for OnePlus 5 users. The latest update will bump the oxygen os version to 4.5.11. This firmware bundle includes system enhancements, September security patch and bug fixes. The update is now live in several regions and weighs in 126 MB.

OnePlus has also published the full release notes at their official forums. Let’s see the lists of changes and improvements included in this update.

• Enhanced app launching speed

• Optimized the adaptive brightness feature

• Installs the September month security patch

• Fixes the Youtube video lagging issue behind audio

• Fixes no 4G+ network issue on selected regions

• Fixes display compatibility issue for UI elements

Apart from these changes, it will also carry the fix for some common bugs. If you own OnePlus 5 then you’re eligible for this update. The OTA roll out has already started and some users have upgraded their device to latest version. You can also initiate the update manually from Settings menu.
