OnePlus 3 now receives new OxygenOS Open Beta 10 update

OnePlus has rolled out third beta version of Nougat 7.0 (OxygenOS) update for OnePlus 3 smartphone users. It will be available for download under Open Beta 10. Earlier they have released two beta versions Open Beta 8 and 9 for this device. If you have already installed OxygenOS Open Beta 9 you can download this new firmware through OTA. Else you must install this latest update with ADB flash. The download size will be 173MB.

The company has also shared the changelog of Open Beta 10 update on their official forums. This update includes enhancements and bug fixes like lock screen clock bug in portrait mode, reverting to default theme after reboot, optimized fingerprint unlock speed, improved quality of expanded screenshot, enhanced wifi performance, optimization for battery usage and tweaked system performance. It also adds new built-in data saver feature to reduce unwanted data consumptions.

If you remember last month OnePlus said the Nougat 7.0 update will be released for OnePlus 3 in this December. But now we are at end of month still the company releasing the Nougat Beta update and performing optimizations from feedback. They didn’t reveal the final nougat release for this smartphone. We can expect this Nougat update final version on January 2017.
