Moto Z and G4 Plus now receiving security update

Lenovo powered Motorola now rolling out software update for Moto Z (US Model) and Moto G4 Plus (Brazil Model) users. It carries the latest security patch file for both devices. The users who installed this update are shared the screenshots on forums. The US version of Moto Z will receive the update as NPLS25.86-17-3-1 (build number) and apply the February month security patch. While the G4 Plus on Brazil getting the March security update with the build number NPJS25.93-14.4.

Apart from security patch it will also enhance the performance and fixes the know bugs. Both handsets will get the update prompt through OTA. As usual OTA firmware will roll out in batch wise and take time to hit all devices. For manual update checking go to Settings > About phone > Software updates.
