Micromax Canvas 5 4G smartphone unveiled in India

Micromax India officially introduced the new flagship smartphone in canvas series named as Micromax Canvas 5.  After a long time they have launched the successor of Canvas 4 smartphone. This smartphone will go on sale in India from November 4 via online and offline retailers. The manufacturer priced this smartphone in India for Rs. 11,999.

The canvas 5 has 5.2-inch 1080p IPS display with corning gorilla glass 3 protection. It also has dual sim slot with 4G LTE support. It comes with android 5.1 lollipop os, 1.3 GHz octa core processor, 3GB RAM and mediatek 64-bit chipset. It has 16GB internal memory with the support of expandable microSD card slot. It sports 13MP back camera with dual tone flash and 5MP front camera with single led flash. The camera features phase detection autofocus (0.2 seconds), PIP (Picture in Picture) mode, samsung sensor, beauty shot and more. It has 2900 mAh battery with 275 hrs of standby time and 10 hrs of talk time. It will be available two optional models: Tan Brown (texture-leather) and Space Grey (metal frame).
