Marshmallow update hits Samsung Galaxy Tab S on Verizon

Verizon wireless powered Samsung Galaxy Tab S (T807V) is now getting android 6.0 marshmallow update. It may be the major update for this tablet because it will not receive android 7.0 nougat upgrade. As notified by the official site it carries the new software version MMB29M.T807VVRU1CPG6.

We already know about the android marshmallow features like doze mode, advanced app permissions, google now on tap, new emojis etc which are now available for this tablet. It also adds new pen settings and tools options in gallery. This software update will remove the following apps from the galaxy tab s – amazon music, amazon app store, e-meeting (stub), VZ navigator and WebEx.

Well, the carrier rolling out this firmware update through OTA (over-the-air). So you will get update notification once it is available for you tablet. If you want to check manually go to Settings then select software update and check for updates option. Before proceeding to download the latest software update make your tablet charged and also connect to uninterrupted WiFi network.
