Huawei Honor V9 goes official in China

Today Huawei officially introduced Honor V9 flagship smartphone at a live event in China. It’s the successor of Honor V8 that was launched on May 2016. Just like its predecessor the honor v9 also sports dual camera lens at back. This handset will be available for pre-registration at major China retailers like Tmall, Vmall, JD.com, Lynx and Suning. It will up for first sale in China on February 28. The available options are Black, Blue, Gold and Red.

The honor v9 features 5.7-inch 2K LTPS display with 2.5D curved glass finish. It runs on latest android 7.0 nougat os, EMUI 5.0, HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset and 2.4 GHz octa core processor. It comes in three variants 4GB + 64GB, 6GB+ 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. All storage models support microSD card via hybrid sim slot. At back it has 12MP + 12MP dual camera lens which includes 4K video recording, laser autofocus, 3D creative shot, HD night photography and more.

It also has 8MP front camera that also preloaded with more features. Other features are fingerprint sensor, Wifi, NFC, Infrared sensor, Bluetooth 4.2, Type-C USB, DTS sound, 4G LTE and more. It packed with 4000 mAh battery which offers 18 hrs of video playback time.

Huawei also reveals the pricing of all storage variants at this launch event. The starting model 4GB RAM with 64GB storage will be available for 2599 yuan (Rs. 25,290) while 6GB + 64GB storage version priced at 2999 yuan (Rs.29,180). The high-end version 6GB RAM + 128GB storage will launch for 3499 yuan (Rs. 34,000).
