Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 getting Android Pie Update

Back in March, Asus has confirmed the Android Pie update roll out for Zenfone Max Pro M2 will start from April 15. But the company has begun to push the android pie for zenfone max pro m2 device little bit earlier. Yeah, the software roll out is already in live and it will be available for download via OTA. Asus Zen Talk forum has affirmed this update release and also reveals some key info about this update.

The zenfone max pro m2 will receive this update in the following firmware version – 16.2017.1903.061. Along with android pie, it also carries the March month security patch for this device (but we expect April month patch). Asus didn’t disclose the detailed changelog for this update, but we know what are the goodies bundled in android pie version.

The pie update for zenfone max pro m2 brings gesture navigation, adaptive battery, adaptive brightness, Digital wellbeing, app actions, bug fixes and some performance related enhancements. Do you own this handset in your hand, then connect it WiFi and wait for the automatic OTA prompt.
