At last, Xiaomi has begun to push new software update for Poco F1 devices and it’s the most awaited MIUI 10 stable update. This handset was first debuted on August 2018 and at launch this device pre-installed has been with MIUI 9.6. This firmware update roll out has been officially confirmed through a thread on MIUI forum. Some users have also shared the after update screenshots on this forum.

This new software update for Poco F1 will arrive with version MIUI V10.0.4.0.OEJMIFH and it weighs around 592 MB. The poco f1 users will receive this major software update as OTA in phases. Also note this software will just update the MIUI version only and it doesn’t make any change in android version which will still remain at oreo 8.1.

What’s new included in this update ? It brings AI portrait to front camera, tweaks image processing & camera stability, new natural sound system, full-screen gestures with new UI, major revamps on system apps, fixes restore bug on ‘OK Google’ and newly added whatsapp cleaner. Along with these features, it also installs the October month security patch and fixes some known bugs.

As the download file weighs not much big, so you can download this update using WiFi or mobile data. If you own Poco F1 in your hand, you can check for the update manually from Settings > About phone > System update.
