Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus users on Verizon are begins to receive new software update. This firmware carries April security patch, performance optimization and other bug fixes. Recently they have pushed Nougat update for these devices. For note 5 users the new update will hit as NN920VVRS3CQD1. On the other hand galaxy s6 edge+ users getting this update in the build number G928VVRS3CQD1.

The carrier has updated official changelog for both devices at their support page. Samsung will roll out roll out this update in stages via regular OTA (Over-The-Air) update. Initially it will reach small range of users then it will expand to other users. The software update can also be initiated by the users for that go to Settings > About phone > Software updates > Check for Updates.
