Sprint carrier has rolled out the minor software update to Samsung Galaxy S7 customers in USA. This new firmware includes VoWiFi (voice over wifi) performance, battery life optimization, April month security patch update. Apart from these changes it also has bug fixes, stability & performance enhancements and more. After the installation you can check the status of android security patch in settings menu.

The screenshot indicates the update file size will be 141.93 MB. So you must connect your handset to Wifi network to download the firmware file. It will update the baseband version to G930PVPU2APD3. If you select install now option the handset will immediately download and install the software update. If you want to install the update between 2 AM to 5 AM choose install overnight option. The later menu option will postpone the update limited time. After exceeding the maximum limit it will automatically update your handset. As usual Sprint galaxy s7 users will receive the update through OTA. If you didn’t caught that notification for you device check it for manually.
