Sprint wireless network rolls out Android Kitkat 4.4.2 software update for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. The customers from United Sates can download the firmware update file. The network provider will provide a notification or alert to download the software update file on your device. If you didn’t receive the alert, you can manually check for this firmware update by Settings > System update > Update. After downloading the update file select install option to upgrade your tablet to Android Kitkat 4.4.2. Once the update is installed, you can check the build number “T217SVPUBNE7” of your device by Settings > about device. The Kitkat update adds new features to your tablet. Some of the improved features are:

New Lock Screen - The update will add shortcut for camera app which can be accessed from the lock screen. Full screen album art and media controls also added.

SMS App Selector - You canchoosethe default SMS app to send and receive text messages.

Others - Improved location settings, restyled status and navigation bars, Elapsed emoji cons and newly added Wireless printing feature
