At the end of September, Samsung has announced next flagship mobile in ‘A’ series Galaxy A8 (2016) for their native country South Korea. It also went for preorder on October 1 via SKT Telecom. Now this handset goes for sale in South Korea under SKT Telecom carrier. For now the galaxy a8 (2016) mobile is available only in Korean markets. Samsung will announce the global launch of this mobile in upcoming months.

Talking about pricing the carrier is selling this handset in Korea for 649,000 Won ($583 USD). If the user is willing to select 6.5GB data band plan they will get 250,000 won offer on Galaxy A8 (2016) purchase. The pricing of this monthly plan will be 56,100 won per month. The blue color model is now available for stock at SKT Telecom. Soon the telecom will load the pink and silver color versions.

The galaxy a8 (2016) comes with 5.7-inch Super AMOLED 1080p display with Always-On display feature. It pre-installed with android 6.0 marshmallow os which may receive Android 7.0 Nougat upgrade in future. It equipped with Exynos 7420 chipset, octa core processor and 3GB RAM. It comes in two internal storage variants – 32GB and 64GB.

The memory can be expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. It has 16MP main camera and 8MP selfie camera. It features fingerprint sensor with samsung pay enabled, dual band wifi, NFC, 4G LTE, ANT+, bluetooth 4.1, GPS, micro USB 2.0 and more. It has non-replaceable 3300 mAh battery with 22 hrs of 3G talk time.
