Just a week ago, Samsung had unveiled the Galaxy Note 9 premium flagship smartphone through a live launching event. The manufacturer has scheduled the release date of this device as August 24. Before the official launch, Samsung had prepared the first software update for this handset and added it to queue. After receiving this device on your hand and booting for first time, Samsung will notify the users to install this new update. The screenshot reveals the download size of this update as 270.06 MB.

This firmware update for Galaxy Note 9 arrives with new build number N960FXXU1ARH5. What’s new in this update? It installs the August month security patch and adds the ability to record super slow motion video in short time i.e. 0.2s/0.4s ( at 480 fps). Apart from these main features, this update will enhance the system stability and perform bug fixes.
Samsung will roll out this latest software update via OTA in stages. As the update weighs in small size so you can use either WiFi or mobile data to download this firmware. Before downloading the software, charge the battery above 50 percent to avoid drain issue or unexpected shutdown during installation. In certain situations the automatic OTA might not pop up on your device, at this time you can manually download the software update from Settings menu.
