Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime flagship smartphone started to receive new software update. It will bump the android security patch level of this device to August 1 2017. Samsung is the first brand to release this August security update. The software update for J7 Prime carries the new version G610FDXU1AQG2. The report claims that the security update roll out has already started in selected regions. Apart from security patch, the firmware will also optimize the performance and fixes the bugs.

Still the company didn’t release the bulletin list for August month. As usual the update will be available to download in the way of OTA. Always OTA update will take some time to reach because of phase roll out. To check for the manual update just go to Settings > About phone > System Updates. Don’t forget to charge your battery minimum 50 percent and use recommended internet connection to download.
