AT&T powered Samsung Galaxy Note 5 now receives the android security patch update for the February month. This update will also include some enhancements for faster handset performance. Apart from these changes it doesn’t include any other major updates. The att carrier customers will receive this security update via Firmware Over-The-Air. To download this software update file the user requires wifi network coverage. The download size of this update file will be in 49 MB. After the completion of this update the user can check the android security patch level (from About device in menu) which will be mentioned as February 1, 2016.

The security update will take some time to reach the galaxy note 5 handsets. If you didn’t receive the notification just go to settings > about device > software update > check for update.
