Few weeks ago, Samsung has rolled out Android Pie update for Galaxy A8+ smartphone in Russia. Now they’ve expanded this software roll out to Indian region and its available for download. Also India will be the second region to receive the android pie update for this handset, it sounds great. This firmware update arrives with new software version A730FXXU4CSCD, of course it also brings new Samsung One UI for Galaxy A8 Plus.

This major software update will be available for download via OTA and it weighs in 1.23 GB (1233.38 MB). Android Pie for galaxy a8 plus brings several new features like adaptive battery with machine learning, revamped user interface (UI), adaptive brightness, gesture navigation, app actions, digital wellbeing, biometric related tweaks and so on. Besides with OS update, it will also install the February 2019 android security patch.

Before upgrading the device, back up your personal and important files to avoid data loss. Some apps may not work after installing the pie update, in this situation you need to update the preloaded apps like Samsung Health, Samsung Pay, Notes, Samsung Internet etc. If you own this handset in your hand, try to check for software update from Settings menu. Because of phase roll out, the OTA update will take some time to reach, but it will surely come to your device.
