Users who bought Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 from Verizon wireless are started to receive Android 8.0 Oreo update. The carrier has officially affirmed this software roll out by updating the support pages. According to that, the android oreo update for Galaxy Tab S3 will arrive with new software version R16NW.T827VVRU1BRD4. It will also update the android security patch level of this device to April 1 2018.

Android Oreo for Galaxy Tab S3 adds several new features like autofill, background app restriction, picture-in-picture mode, notification dots, high contrast for samsung keyboard, SmartThings app (instead of quick connect) and more are there. Along with this it will also perform bug fixes and improves the system stability.

The verizon carrier will feed this oreo firmware for Galaxy Tab S3 users via OTA. To download this OTA update your tablet must be connected to WiFi network.
