It’s happening folks, HMD Global has started to push Android 9 Pie update for Nokia 6.1 Plus (Android One) users. Recently they’ve enrolled this handset to beta program and also tested the android pie beta version. Now the Nokia has started to roll out the stable version of pie to everyone. This pie update for nokia 6.1 plus brings new software version v3.45B and it’s now available for Indian units.

Android Pie for Nokia 6.1 Plus includes December month security patch, Pro mode in camera, ability to hide or show notch, revamped user interface and system stability enhancements. The notch show or hide feature was disabled by Nokia in previous update and most of the users were distressed, but the latest pie update bring this feature back for Nokia 6.1 Plus.

This featured software update weighs around 314.9 MB and you will receive this update via OTA. As the update size is small, so you can use either WiFi or mobile data to download it. Usually the OTA roll out will take some time to land on all devices, so if you don’t receive the notification just stay calm and wait for it. You can also manually check for the software update from Settings > About Phone.
