HMD global now begins to roll out new software update for Nokia 6 handset. The latest firmware update will bump the android security patch of Nokia 6 to July 1 2017. At launch they have notified mobiles under Nokia brand will get regular software updates. Nokia 6 is the first handset that receiving the July month patch in the world. Even Google didn’t release the July security patch for its Pixel series handsets.

The security update for Nokia 6 (TA-1003) will weighs in 149 MB. However the update is rolling out for selected regions Hong Kong and Taiwan. The software update will be available in stages via OTA. You can also check for manual update from Settings > About phone > System updates. As now Nokia 6 released only in three regions - China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. In this July the company scheduled to expand the Nokia devices to global markets including India and U.S.
