Today, Motorola officially announces the next generation of Moto G series smartphone in India at a live event (MyMotoBFF). This new generation smartphone is named as Moto G Gen 3 or Moto G 3rd Gen. It can also be said as successor of Moto G Gen 2 smartphone. The new moto g comes with IPX7 certified water resistant protection. It also has the support of moto shell accessories. Moto G 3rd gen include the chop twice feature to quickly capture the favorite images.

The smartphone will launch with pure android 5.1.1 lollipop operating system. It will be available in two storage variants 8 GB with 1GB RAM and 16 GB with 2GB RAM. It comes in two colors black and white. The 8GB and 16 GB model will be available in India for the price of Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 12,999. The flipkart retailer will exclusively sales the moto g3 from today.
