Verizon wireless carrier is now rolling out android 5.1 lollipop update for Motorola Droid Turbo smartphone users in USA. The android 5.1 software update will be available from July 1. Verizon carrier will push the software update to droid turbo mobiles in phases. The carrier will send a firmware update notification to droid turbo users. If you didn’t receive alert message, check for the update manually by Settings > about phones > system update.

To update to latest lollipop version, the user need to maintain minimum 50% of charge and WiFi network connection. The list of improvements, newly added features and fixed bugs for Droid Turbo are listed in Motorola official support page.
