Motorola has started to push new software update for its Moto Z Play (1st Gen) handset. This update brings latest android security patch i.e. October month for this device. The report suggests this firmware is now available in Brazil for retbr software channel. This update has been confirmed by the user on forum discussion.

Moto Z Play users will receive this software update as NPNS26.118-22-2-3. It also weighs in small size 70.2 MB. Not only carries the security patch, it may also tweaks the system stability and fix the known bugs. The screenshot confirms that the software update will arrive through OTA. To download this update you need to connect our device to wifi or mobile data.

Also don’t run out charge otherwise you will face errors on installation. Suppose if you didn’t receive the automatic OTA update then perform manual update from Settings menu. Recently the company has rolled out September month patch for Moto Z Play with reteu channel.
