In July 2015, Motorola announced the new smartphone in Moto X series named as Moto X Play. Last month it also went on sale in selected countries. Motorola India teased about the India launch of moto x play smartphone in their official twitter page. The manufacturer will unveil this smartphone on September 14 in India via flipkart retailer. But earlier the rumored information suggests Motorola planned to launch their smartphones at both online and offline stores in India. Motorola will reveal the Moto X Play price and launch at the official event on September 14. We can expect the smartphone will be available in India for the price of Rs. 25,600 – 26,000.

The moto x play has 5.5-inch 1080p display, dual sim, android 5.1 lollipop os, 2GB RAM, qualcomm snapdragon 615 chipset, octa core processor. It comes in two internal storage models: 16GB and 32GB. Both variants have expandable microSD card slot. It has 21MP rear camera with dual tone flash and 5MP front or selfie camera. It features 4G/LTE connection, Wifi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and more connectivity features. It has 3630 mAh inbuilt battery which provides 30 hrs of standby time and 48 hrs of mixed usage time.
