Google finally released the official factory and OTA images of Nougat 7.1.1 for Nexus 6 smartphone. Other Nexus series handsets are already received this update last month except nexus 6. Now Google has listed the Nougat 7.1.1 Factory and OTA images for Nexus 6 official developer site. This update comes in new version N6F26Q.

The download size of this file will be 923 MB (Factory image) and 910MB (OTA). To install this on your device the user need to download ADB tool. Before proceeding the any of above two methods backup your data to other removable storage. If you install nougat update with factory image it will surely delete all data from your device. The installation procedures for both OTA and factory images are mentioned at developer site.

If you don’t want to use ADB method for installation you need to wait for the official over-the-air roll out. We don’t know when Google will push this update through OTA. They didn’t also specify Nougat 7.1.1 update changelog for Nexus 6.
