Last month Microsoft announced the windows powered 4G budget smartphone named as Microsoft Lumia 550. This 4g smartphone is now available at UK retailers for preorder. The retailers carphone warehouse, clove and unlocked mobiles are accepting the preorders in UK.The carphone warehouse retailer offers the sim-free version of this handset for 89.99 pounds. The users can also buy this handset in pay monthly contract plan which starts from 9.50 pounds per month. This retailer also listed the upgrade option for this device.

The clove and unlocked mobiles shopping retailers listed the lumia 550 for 94.98 (Inc VAT) and 99.00 (Inc VAT) pounds. The clove will sell the black and white color devices while the unlocked mobiles offer the black color. Both retailers will roll out this handset in UK from December 10.

The lumia 550 has 4.7-inch HD display, windows 10 os, nano sim slot, 1.1 GHz quad core processor, qualcomm 210 chipset and 1GB RAM. It comes with 8GB internal memory which can be expandable via microSD card. It has 5MP back camera with LED flash and 2Mp front camera. It equipped with 2100 mAh battery which will standby for 28 days.
