Verizon wireless rolled out February month security patch update for LG G Pad 7.0 LTE old tablet. The update will comes in new software version VK41025A. The major task of this firmware is to update the android security patch level. It will also carry performance optimizations and fix the known bugs. This tablet is running on android lollipop os and no word about the nougat os upgrade.

If you own the Verizon powered LG G Pad 7.0 LTE tablet, switch on wifi or cellular data to receive the automatic OTA update. If you didn’t get the update notification, then check it manually from Settings > About Phone > Software updates > Check for Update. If the firmware update is available for your device, proceed to install now option.
