HTC has released a new software update for One X9 smartphone users. This handset was first announced by HTC in 2015. The one x9 owners will receive this firmware update in new version 2.24.400.2. The download file also comes in big size 506.12MB. This huge update will just include system enhancements and bug fixes.

As usual the software update will knock your device via OTA. The company recommends users to use WiFi connection to download the firmware. Using mobile data for download will lead to additional charges. It will not erase any personal files from your mobile, but for safety backup files to removal storage. Also maintain the handset battery level above 50 percent to avoid interrupt.
