Verizon wireless U.S popular network carrier is now rolling out Android Nougat update for HTC 10 users. Earlier this week the Mo Versi (VP of HTC Product Management) confirmed this update on his twitter page. As promised the nougat update is available to download for Big Red network (Verizon) users. The carrier updated the full changelog at the device support page. For HTC 10 the update comes with new build number 2.41.605.12. The firmware will also apply the latest security patch for this device.

The android 7.0 nougat for htc 10 includes split screen window, data saver mode, easier settings app navigation, quick multi-tasking and direct notification reply. Other than these features it will also optimize performance and fixes the known bugs.

The update will hit Verizon HTC 10 devices through OTA. If the automatic update prompt available for your device tap the Install Now option to begin the installation. The user can also manually check for update from Settings > System update > Check for new system update. Before proceed to download backup your files for safety and manage the charge level minimum 50 percent.
