Last month Gionee has teased the launch of low-budget smartphone Pioneer P5 Mini on their official facebook page. Now the company has released this budget mobile in India. The handset is now exclusively available to buy at Gionee online store. They have priced the P5 mini smartphone in India as Rs. 5349 (INR). It will be available in six optional colors black, blue, red, white, yellow and golden.

The p5 mini has 4.5-inch FWVGA display with On-Cell touch technology and Asahi scratch resistant glass. It runs on android 5.1 lollipop os with amigo 3.1 UI, 1.3 GHz quad core processor and Mediatek chipset. It sports 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and 128GB expandable storage via microSD card slot. It has 5MP back camera with HD (720p) video capture and 2MP front camera. It includes regular connectivity features wifi, bluetooth 4.0, 3G network and more. However this budget handset lacks at 4G connectivity. It has 1850 mAh battery capacity which will standby for 277 hrs in 2G and 237 hrs in 3G.
