At IFA 2015 event Asus showcased the selfie focused smartphone Asus Zenfone Selfie. Asus launched the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage model of zenfone selfie smartphone in India. The smartphone is flipkart exclusive and release in India on September 21. The retailer is now taking the preorder of this device in India for the price of Rs. 17,999. The online retailer also listed the smartphone in two colors pink and aqua blue. Still the 16GB storage and 2GB RAM model of this handset listed with coming soon status.

The zenfone selfie has 5.5-inch Full HD (1080p) display with gorilla glass 4 damage protection. It powered by octa core processor, qualcomm snapdragon 615 chipset and 3GB/2GB RAM. It runs on android 5.0 lollipop os which can be upgradable to android 5.1 lollipop. It comes in 16GB/32GB internal storage with an expandable microSD slot. It has 13MP camera with dual tone flash on both back and front sides. It also 3000 mAh non-removable battery with quick charge feature
