Asus mobiles planned to launch a Padfone S successor in Malaysia which named as Padfone S Plus. The official image and features of this device has been listed in third party website. The device will be available for purchase from April 8 in Malaysia and also it will reach global market soon. The Padfone s plus will be available for the price of RM1099 or 18830 INR. Unlike its predecessor, the padfone s plus has IPX2 certified water resistant feature.

The handset has 5-inch Full HD display with corning gorilla glass protection. Compared to its predecessor, the padfone s plus has upgraded qualcomm snapdragon 801 chipset, 2.3 GHz quad core processor and 3 GB RAM. Unlike its predecessor, the new version comes with increased internal storage capacity 64 GB which also include expandable microSD card slot. The device has same 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2 Megapixel front camera. The successor version camera will support 4K Ultra HD video recording, Auto HDR, turbo mode and more. It also support NFC, high speed WiFi, Qi wireless charge, bluetooth and more connectivity features. It also equipped with same battery capacity 2300 mAh.
