ASUS Padfone phone-in-tablet, which runs on Android Ice cream sandwich and now get its update to jelly Bean coming next week. We hope, that the ASUS Padfone 2 will also get the update soon, with in Q1 this year. The new update includes improved features like Instant Dictionary capabilities, Google now, better camera picture previews, improved clipboard, and an updated File Manager.

The owners of a Padfone in Taiwan can get the update for their device via the OTA feature of the Padfone now.

The update will roll out via the OTA (Over-The-Air) feature of your Padfone, and will be available on the Asus website soon after.The update process to Jelly Bean brings two different OTA updates. The first update upgrades your padfone to version 9.20.4.40 (which is still Android 4.0.4). But after you boot your device, you will get a second OTA message which will upgrade your Padfone to version 10.2.0.110 (which brings Android 4.1.1).
